Who We Are

Founded in 1969, Grandview Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing exceptional addiction recovery treatment to underserved adults, regardless of their ability to pay. (The Foundation is Drug Medi-Cal Certified.) Our approach is kind, respectful and gentle. Grandview’s team of experts is experienced in treating the most difficult substance abuse cases. Our staff has expertise in the fields of therapy, addiction medicine, mental health, social integration, education, and recovery support.

Grandview has facilities located in four residential houses in an historic district in Pasadena, California. The Foundation offers individualized attention, comprehensive support and time-tested expertise needed to increase the likelihood of a successful and lasting recovery from addiction.

Who We Serve

Grandview is open to Los Angeles county residents 18 years and older with Drug Medi Cal coverage, who seek treatment for addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. We offer residential and sober living programs to men, and various outpatient treatment options to both men and women.

Each year, Grandview serves hundreds of individuals who do not have the resources to pay privately for treatment. Our clients often have long histories of chronic addictions, and life experience that resulted in homelessness, or incarceration. Some were supported in the past by families who have now severed connections. Some have been on their own for years. Most have lost everything as a result of their disease. All are ready and willing to get their lives back on track.

We offer residential and sober living programs to men, and various outpatient treatment options to both men and women.

Men and women who feel they have nowhere else to turn come to Grandview because we treat — in fact, we specialize in — the most difficult cases of addiction. Our success rate is testament to the expertise that has reclaimed lives for nearly 50 years.

Grandview is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of its services on the basis of race, color or national origin, as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended.

Our Mission

The Grandview Foundation’s mission is to make exceptional addiction recovery services available to adults without private insurance or other resources to pay.

Our goal is to enable clients to: reclaim a sober and safe lifestyle … return to friends and family happy and healthy … once again become productive members of the community … for the rest of their lives.
